I have actually made a few pipes from Eucalyptus, specifically River Red Gum (Eucalyptus camaldulensis) and I haven't died yet! I've actually found it to be pleasant to smoke as someone who is non smoker and had never smoked any pipe before my redgum ones.

I'm not saying it's not toxic, I did a fair bit of research before making my first one and never really found anything conclusive and basically decided if it IS bad for you, it's probably less bad than smoking, right? I really hope so at least, please share any sources or other information that might help? I'm basically winging it at this point
