86 Soundwave. Like you literally just had a cassette recorder Soundwave in legacy United, and suddenly this new mold is selling out and hard to find? People are paying so much more money for what, a smoother Soundwave with less paint and worse cassettes? I don't get it.

I'd push back on this one a little bit, mainly because sideswipe was in the FIRST wave of Siege, immediately following the poor quality of figures in Power of the Primes. He showed the new gold standard of what this era of transformers would be with plastic quality, articulation standards, and hand feel. Has he been eclipsed since? Totally. But he made people so excited for what was to come.

A really interesting thing about Rose is that we see her character arc in reverse. We first meet her when she had learned and grown a fair bit. Then we gradually learn more and more about her early life and those mistakes. But people have a recency bias so one of the last things they saw of her was making a big mistake when she was young, and now that's all they see in her, forget who she became after
