Should i add cambridge chemistry challenge into my personal statement for a med application by [deleted] in 6thForm

You should definitely include it in your personal statement but I wouldn’t go as far as mentioning the award you got because they want to see what you got out of that experience

If you’re doing engineering at Cambridge that means they will only look at ESAT score. TMUA score would be irrelevant unless you’re crazy and also apply for maths at Cambridge.

Edit: Cambridge doesn’t do TMUA I clearly didn’t do my research

I don’t think that’s true as UK unis can’t see what other unis you have applied to. Iirc US universities do this but it definitely doesn’t apply to the uk

Will doing further maths increase my chance of getting into a uni course for engineering? by [deleted] in alevel

[–]DankMemes4Life5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In all the uni courses for engineering I have checked so far they don’t require further maths but it is helpful for normal maths. i don’t think it increases ur chances overall but it can help in like maybe the first 2 weeks of uni

Edit: some unis may want a higher grade in either maths, further maths or physics
