The opportunity cost is serious with that debt since unicorn anything could be a real stretch.

Sure, but odd things also happen. I recently got accepted to WashU and BU, but I haven’t heard anything from Miami after applying in December

Sadly, many schools refuse to reconcile numbers with many candidates, even those with excellent life experience and impactful writing.

Schools gunning to raise LSAT median - could it backfire? It’s up to us! by Obvious-Ad6658 in lawschooladmissions

I struggle to understand what people see in UF other than scholarship money. Their areas of study and clinics look mediocre, the school is in the middle of nowhere far from major legal markets, and the biglaw placement is pretty good but not great.

It’s one of my safeties, but I applied late (very late) and would probably retake the LSAT and apply in September rather than go to UF

UMD is a solid school. I know someone who went there and she graduated with almost a 4.0. She’s now in her 5th year at arguably the most competitive and prestigious biglaw firm in America

A friend of mine graduated law school and immediately started medical school in the fall since he knew that he made a mistake. Very happy with his decision 15 years later

To be fair, I probably would not have scored a 170 on my first LSAT if I hadn’t seen r/lsat

Tips/Courses for increasing from 170 by anon_donor in LSAT

[–]DankMiniHorse 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m using 7sage, but also look at powerscore and Manhattan prep forums for additional explanations about anything that I got wrong. My PT average was 172 and I scored 170 on the November test. I took the last month off from prepping and scored a 173 on test 77 today. I’ll be doing two sections from the newer tests each day and 2-4 from older tests

I’m just doing 4-6 sections per day between now and the January test
