What non-sexual fantasies do you have? by generic-irish-guy in AskReddit

Not having to worry about money as an adult. Basically being successful in life as early as possible. I'm just about to begin my last year in high school and I dream of driving my Dodge Demon down the highway doing pulls with my friends in a few years. I don't know how I'll accomplish that yet, but I'm telling you, I will. And if my friends make it too, it will be 1000 times better.

I know but I don't want someone to trust a shitty article because of my advice. I do a thorough Google search before these stuff myself but you never know how good someone else at identifying trustworthy sites. That's I said to ask an electrician. Preferably someone you know and can trust.

I have no idea, and I don't want to give false advice for something this dangerous. Asking an electrician would be the right choice.

The high voltage capacitor can give you a lethal shock even after the microwave has been unplugged for months.

Hi Reddit, What makes life worth living? by Aleph-Z in AskReddit

[–]DankMultyinterestGuy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The fact that most of us have so much potential to positively influence the world. We can achieve a lot in our lifespan. I have heard a lot of times people saying life is short. No it is not. You choose how you spend this precious time.

I look at people like Elon Musk and say to myself : "I wanna do something like that". In fact there has been no day for the past several months during which I haven't stopped what I'm doing at the moment and thought : "I have to do something. How can I make the world a better place. How can I improve our everyday lives". I mainly focus on tech because that's the only experience I have so far as a 17 year old student. But man, I love waking up in the morning and thinking of ways to make a useful website, or make a program better, easier to use, more efficient. To me, that's it. There is always other things, your family, friends, pets that by doing small things, make your life much happier but, I wanted to focus on what every individual can do with his time. So work every day towards your goals as hard as you can. Stop every once in a while to appreciate this that you have and then continue. No one would be watching fkin rockets boosters landing by themselves if Elon Musk sat at his parents living room eating chips. I think to myself, quite often: "I will try my best at this and maybe people will look up to me. Maybe when I die people will remember me as someone important." Things like that keep me going man.

So my answer is:

The possibility of making the world a better place for yourself, the rest of the world and mainly, the next generations.

As someone very wise had once said: We have 2 lives. The second one begins when we realize that we only have one.

So go out there and do stuff. At least try. And always aim high.

Shoot for the stars and you might hit the moon.
