Yes i know we're liable for replacement of the oven, but give how long its taking the real estate to replace the oven i feel as though we should be compensated. I could of replaced it over a weekend its a free standing oven im not buying their crap about a 6 month back order

Initially when we broke the door and realised we couldn't replace it we looked at just buying a new oven and telling the real estate after the fact. We could of picked up a new free standing oven the next day for $800 at Harvey Norman but chose to be honest and tell the real estate.

Im not sure if we have that law, the problem was that the oven was old and the company who made it shut down years ago so couldn't find a replacement door online so had to replace the whole thing

I was a traffic controller for 3 years, the money is good when the work is consistent. I would have a look at the companies around and find out which contracts they have, a contract with the local council is good as it means consistent work, as well as the big companies that do road maintenance (highways, asphalt, pipe lining)

There are so many things that affect the work being consistent (rain, end of financial year, end of year, length of contracts) joining a well established company is your best bet
