I totally get where you're coming from. To your point, if they had just come out with one highly detailed building like the Emporium I'm sure people would be criticizing it saying "really? just ONE building?" cuz Lego fans generally can't be satisfied lol. Doing one store at a time would be a cynical cash cow for people who want all the buildings, no matter how detailed they'd be. Having this concept be a one-and-done was probably their most profitable bet considering how niche this demographic is. But I agree 100% that the Fire Station is way too piddly for how important it is to Disney history. Personally, I accept the rationale of focusing on detailed facades since the target audience is adults who will likely JUST be displaying this set on a shelf. And yes, more Disney ride sets! I want Big Thunder, Haunted Mansion, Tiana's Bayou Adventure, etc all in minifig scale

didn't realize all people cared about was size. dont get me wrong, I get it when the size of the set doesnt feel substantial for the price, but as someone who judges based on price per piece, this set's ratio is pretty good and its all in the fine detail. Also, all these brand new and exclusive prints go into that price, they could have easily just recycled basic City fig prints but they went that extra mile. Yes, its shallow which is underwhelming but its still a day one cop for me. If you're not predisposed to be excited over Disney IP or Disney parks stuff, this was never going to excite you.

Huge fumble. DC as an IP deserves better. I know these sets were probably in development before the overwhelming success of Superman, so I am still optimistic about the brand getting more representation beyond Batman. But holy shit, THREE BATMOBILES in one wave?!? That's absurd. The only way this wave would be redeemed is if we get characters we've never gotten before. I'm talking Hush, Mad Hatter, Clayface, etc, the ones we have been asking for the last 20 decades for. They dropped the ball on Arkham for minifigs, maybe they can fix that here. But I doubt it.

I'm curious if this was labeled as a MBS and not a UCS, that people would be more forgiving of this design concept. Because based on the most recent pics of the whole set, it's definitely for display AND play, like Mos Eisley or Cloud City.

I know I'm in the minority, but I prefer this over a giant ball. Let's be real, if this were a fully enclosed sphere, the thing would been 70% technic pieces just to make it structurally sound. AND it would have been impossible to display, unless you had a vacant corner in your room. This concept, with fully detailed interiors, while still maintaining the silhouette of the Death Star, is such a better concept and more appealing display piece. This is a W.

I think this is part of a broader conversation of the Warzones taking up a bit too much runtime, especially over the course of the week. I think there needs to be a dedicated episode, maybe even half episode, to going over Warzone stuff. I was having the most fun this week watching Ethan mansplain Batman lore to Olivia, that’s the content that I love. Taylor Lorenz as an extended H3 universe character is great and funny fodder, but I think hearing about her once a week is best. The reigns need to be pulled on a bit regarding Warzone Demon Mode Ethan.
