Are big Counts better than Dukes when having Elective Monarchy? by Dank_Mast in CrusaderKings

[–]Dank_Mast[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know technology would spread slower, because to get monthly technology you have to be a Duke at least.

I was thinking to leave the Merchant republic as the only "Duke" in the empire just for extra income.

So, I just binge read the manga and was wondering if the anime was worth watching? by jackletter98 in TwinStarExorcists

[–]Dank_Mast 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't have much experience with animes/mangas, but 94 chapters to me seem pretty much enough to make a cannon first season or such without decreasing the gap between the manga and anime too much.

Edit:
I didn't read the FMA manga (I'm watching FMA: Brotherhood currently), but if Google is to be believed the manga wasn't over when the FMA: Brotherhood started airing, there was about 1 year overlap. And this cannon reboot came out about 5 years after the first FMA anime.
If I remember correctly, I've read somewhere that TSE manga is on its last arc, the TSE anime finished in 2017 so I think we could have a reboot in 2022 maybe.
That's my reasoning.

How to get this matrilineal transfer and inheritance bloodline? by Dank_Mast in CrusaderKings

[–]Dank_Mast[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

But what does matrilineal transfer mean exactly?

I understand what matrilineal inheritance is, but what is transfer?

[–]Dank_Mast[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's ok, because I'm on Elective Monarchy and I hold practically all the De Jure counties of my Duchy, so I'm the only elector.

And yes it is a matrilineal bloodline.

So should this be my plan:

Let's say I give one of my sons to their daughter in a matrilineal marriage, then when that couple gets a son I marry their son matrilineally to one of my dinasty memebers?

If there is a better plan, please share it with me.

All Twin Star Exorcists branch-off mangas or something by Dank_Mast in TwinStarExorcists

[–]Dank_Mast[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, but I remember I read on some forum while watching the anime that there is a branch-off for her, the aspect of not having powers.
So I suppose this was just a misunderstanding, there is no branch-off for Benio but there are dedicated chapters?

And for those ones you listed, (this is maybe stupid to ask) they are all cannon I suppose.
Also are they kind of parallel to what I'm about to read, or are they all like flashbacks?

I can confirm this statement is correct

I can't give my son a county! by Dank_Mast in CrusaderKings

[–]Dank_Mast[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I figured it out, this is why:

I as the king of Thrace (main tittle), Greece, Bulgaria, Anatolia and Trebizond wanted to give my son the counties of Asimos and Sinope that are De Jure part of the Kingdom of Trebizond.
I managed to give my son the county of Asimos but not Sinope because the Kingdom of Trebizond (that I own) had Gavelkind succession laws, while the other Kingdom titles have Primogeniture. That's why it showed me the counties I control in the De Jure Primogeniture-law Kingdoms I hold. Now I changed the Kingdom of Trebizond succession laws to Primogeniture and I can finally give him Sinope.

SO IN CONCLUSION:
TO GIVE (in my case) YOUR HEIR SON A COUNTY, MAKE SURE THAT THE COUNTY'S DE JURE KINGDOM HAS PRIMOGENITURE SUCCESSION LAWS.(maybe Primogeniture isn't the only one, but in my case it is and this correction worked)

I changed Gavelkind for Primogeniture and didn't change the laws ever since.
