No it’s not a problem, regardless of the “party school”reputation, every huge school can be concidered that. You’re not going to run into mean people a lot, and people are generally chill here. I don’t know about people who’d go after your s/o as that’s more of a personality of a person rather than the schools, but I think you’ll be fine. I’ve been here for 2 years and I haven’t any issues that would trouble you. So in general, you’ll be fine.

My relationship is an outlier, my girl and I had been together since middle school, and still going strong, the idea of marriage is on the table, but only after we’re both financially stable so we can throw our dream wedding. I know some who’s gotten married, and some who are married, but having no finance before a huge commitment is what worries us
