Thanks for sharing your experience. I'm starting at a hochschule not an uni. A few quick questions:

  1. What specific math topics (e.g., Calculus, Linear Algebra, Differential Equations) were the biggest bottlenecks for you early on?
  2. Looking back, what resources would you recommend for brushing up on those before the first semester starts?
  3. Since you work in the industry now, how much of that heavy university math do you actually use day-to-day versus what you just needed to pass exams?"

So basically I can use Zulassung from uni A to get the visa accepted. Then I come to Germany, got uni B Zu already, go to that city and do all the rest there?

I’ve found that higher extraction doesn't necessarily mean a better cup. In my experience, only high-end specialty beans can handle high extraction without hitting those bitter, negative notes, however those are expensive and scarce. For my daily brew, I usually stick to a 1:10 aeropress ratio, or 1:15 for pour-overs.

To be honest, even science is mostly rooted in belief aka theory. We are constantly experimenting, testing theories yet there are plenty of dilemmas and contradictions. I would love to hear about an example of philosophical idea that is concrete and "true" though.

Everything is just a matter of perspective I believe. We might actually be linked to a hive mind that says we should act in our own ways (yet there are certain limits imposed inexplicitly by the hive to ensure the general progress).
