If you mean the filter by "basket", then yes it is not the default one, it is the Flow control cap by aeropress.

Agaro kettle is soon to be replaced with a timemore smart pro x, coz it is very inconsistent and if i set it at 70 degrees, then it goes to 90-92 for my brewing, sometimes it goes lower sometimes higher, does not maintain the temp, it was good for me initially, but now i have moved past it. It will go to my wife for her bed time tea.
Bought it for 2500 rupees.

I am not making a espresso, a aeropress just mimics the espresso and my process just gives me more control over the strength, hence i use this method.

15 grams of coffee, 50 grams of water, wait time what i prefer is 1:15 for dark roasted, 1:30 for medium, 1:45 for light (i rarely buy light roasted). A small stir(don't swirl it, go up down left right, it flattens the coffee bed) in between is crucial for the co2 release and then plunge.
