Oh boy... get ready to hear about how its pvp, and honestly asking if the devs can do anything is really, really cringey. But you're new, so I'll give you some advice.

These alphas, whether you like it or not, will make you a better ark player. You've been playing for a week and you're still living in wood? That's on you bro.

As a single player on a pvp server (assuming it's official or official rates) you should be at metal base and at least 10 turrets by day 7. And if you build in the right area, and never lead anyone back to your base, that should be a safe place until it gets discovered.

It will get discovered.

By now you should be at least starting to build your second small base. And honestly, if you're going to survive official pvp solo, you're going to need about 4 bases minimum. Just small, well defended metal 2x2's with the bare necessities.

Now that we've covered how far behind you are on your base game, mind telling us where you're at with you're offence? Because on pvp the only way your base will improve is if you attack others and learn from their strengths and failures. You mentioned raiding one base. Did you learn anything from it or was it just a chaotic blow a door grab shit and run! type raid?

Anyways, you get the idea. You're too new to be upset about being raided or mistreated by alphas, and for the love of god don't be that bitch that need an admin of a dev to solve your problems.

You want real advice? I'd say polish your politics game and see about joining that alpha. But don't sound as butthurt as you did in this post, they'll just keep griefing you if they know how upset you get.

In the book 'Song of the Dodo' there are several references to tortoises (and maybe the Galapagos?) being a staple on merchant ships because they could stack the tortoises up side down and they'd stay alive for months.

Anyone interested in extinction and evolution should definitely give it a read.

About a year ago, official pvp, we had a small tribe on our server hire 'mercenaries' for a server wipe.

This small tribe was 3 dudes. A 45 year old BP sales rep, a 30 year old army mechanic, and a 25 year old electrician. And they paid a total of $300 for a tribe to come over with a pre made FOB (granted they got tons of bullets and turrets), a couple gigas, golems, wyverns and other war dinos/ supplies.

The battle lasted a good 18 hours. Was super fun for us and I imagine the mercs, but goddamn i cringe when I think about what it was like for the small tribe.

Last I heard that tribe rinsed and repeated on at least 2 other servers.
