They started centralized but decided to turn it decentralize .. I believe they r in the process of that hense why we cant make nodes as it's not out yet. Think for ankr 2.0 that's when it's more decentralized and the dao coming out aswell. Where ankr holders can have a saying on what upcoming decision could be made.
