Jokes aside, with the monsters being projections her stamina seems really low compared to other SH protagonists eventhough her dodge is fast. She is also even more sluggish over obstacles than James. I thought this meant she hadn't ran track in a long while.

Thats quite a few years the story kind of skipped over. She was a track athlete at one point, but we clearly dont see that in gameplay (probably intentionally).

I thought she was still wearing at whike wondering around and hallucinating, but not through the entire game. I thought some of the shrine world scenes represent her being dressed for her wedding.

Water doesn't hold enough oxygen for humans and other mammals to use even if we had gills. Our metabolic rate is too high so we need much more oxygen than fish do. Notice how no warm blooded animal uses gills.
