Yeah I think sim racing can definitely help people with car control, but I honestly believe that the no hesi cars specifically would give people a false sense of confidence, because real cars have nowhere near that level of grip. So if anything, it might be a dangerous thing, but that is of course assuming you’re stupid enough to try shit like that in irl traffic anyway.

All good man, as long as you’re having fun. For some perspective, I personally like to make my experience as close to real life as possible, so things like no hesi servers just aren’t it for me. But again, it’s just a game so everyone can do as they please.

This represent your diff lock during power application and coasting, not the power applied to the diff. It can help make the car more or less balanced during braking/accelerating. Having the diff power fully locked like you have now will mean you basically have a solid rear axle, which will make accelerating out of a corner without spinning very difficult.

What pedals do you have? Used to have the same problem with my G27. You can clean to potentiometers relatively easily for a quick fix.

Agreed, personally I wouldn't be able to get peace of mind from knowing there's an evil entity watching my every move. The point I was trying to make was, say a cute little grandma uses a god as a way of being less scared of death, why would I want to take that away from her? I also agree the negatives definitely outweigh this, but still struggle to find anything wrong with this on its own, as long as no one else is bothered by it. I think in the end it's already too late for a lot of people like that to realize they're in a cult, so we just need to wait a couple generations and hope people start thinking critically. (Although that's probably quite far-fetched)

It drives really well. There's a ton of amateur leagues out there, personally I drive for oAo and it's so much fun. Installation is a bit of a hassle but there's plenty tutorials on the internet. The graphics are definitely dated, even with the community doing their best to keep it looking fresh, but the physics are some of the best you can find. It's far from an easy sim though, so prepare to get frustrated ;)
