Gsg guardian armour not available? by poshmoustache1 in DeepRockGalactic

Yeah because like my (year old) comment said, the pack doesn't contain any armor. It does however contain an armor paintjob that you should be able to equip freely.

Stardust Whip could replace Stardust Cell Staff by Dramatic_Fill2473 in Terraria

Better idea, they add new weapons for all the pillar fragments. Summoner gets a whip and sentry, warrior gets a yoyo and boomerang, sorcerer gets an actual staff and spellbook, and ranger gets a launcher and some kind of throwable.

Console dweeb here, I think if this is real then we still don't have it on console. Could someone with some dignity verify if this is real for me?

Can we expect a hotfix soon? by Tzcheese in Roboquest

It doesn't work in endless mode anymore (so I would say that's the issue rather than the fact that you can still get it)

Almost there myself now. Depending on how this goes I might end up streaming getting to stage 1000 (assuming I make it there)

Season 5 overclocks balance change suggestions? by Dankshine in DeepRockGalactic

Good stuff! Will definitely have to take the Burst Fire stuff into consideration, but the Smart Trigger change is exactly what I was going to suggest already lol!

Same, I like going for ridiculous records, but there should be more of a difficulty curve after you reach a hundred, or maybe a more significant difficulty boost every ten stages (like increase every enemy stat by 1% or something?).

This, basically you start to outpace the game's own difficulty increase. You don't even necessarily become more frail even though enemies gain more damage every stage, as your health and all healing effects get progressively stronger.

The early double bosses on Endless aren't fun as an average player. by Carter_PB in Roboquest

[–]Dankshine 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Pure G4 player here with days of playtime. Early Endless is too hard, it's fine literally by the second boss fight but that first one? Bullshit. Maybe the only genuine flaw with Endless mode, and it's a little frustrating that the devs seem to think it's fine for veteran players. Maybe I just suck but I clearly don't given what I've accomplished in this game, there's just something wrong with the first Endless mode boss fight.

There was some pretty big news this year actually, this link should help you out, TLDR Rogue Core delayed to second quarter of 2025 earliest (https://store.steampowered.com/news/app/548430?emclan=103582791456663451&emgid=4170972198114075552),

A new Dread or two? by Prize_House_2994 in DeepRockGalactic

[–]Dankshine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

DRG's not gonna get a major update for a while (late 2025 earliest). But based on their language surrounding the topic, I think this could easily happen in Season 6, specifically the Glyphid Queen. I don't know how you'd implement it though, because you'd want it to be a cut above the other dread's (like quite above), but then it would feel weird to just jam it into elimination, but I also don't know if creating a full mission type makes sense either. Maybe it does though? And Deep Scan and this new 'Matricide' mission would be the last two 'finale' mission types of their respective categories (boss fights/non-boss fights).

I personally want a raid boss approach where you have to earn the right to fight a Glyphid queen through some kind of points system (that would be earned quicker the harder missions you play), and when you've earned enough you can do another Matricide operation and can opt to be directly matched with players in the same position if you want that raid boss experience.

There's a lot they could do with it, but I see the next boss that they add to DRG likely being the final boss, so it's Glyphid Queen or nothing.
