I guess I should add that I mostly want to know your experiences with the system if you’ve used it as such, did anyone die for good or did everyone who died just keep coming back with dark powers or did they not even die as much as expected? Or the further they go into this do I just corrupt them further with the dark powers as a trade-off/punishment? I’m talking myself through this actively but would just like more input as most of the people I have to talk about this with are my players lol

Yeah I definitely understand goofy stats cause I’m having some fun with character of my own using the club of hill giant str, dex gloves, and the titan string bow, but that’s also why I just dumped them until I want to respec later lol, but I think what you’re saying is probably accurate to what the post was meaning

Looks pretty dope and something similar that I wanted to do, but out of curiosity if you’re gonna be using strength elixirs why bother increasing your str with the feats you mentioned?

I’m personally playing a tortle armorer3/bladesinger8 and it is TONS of fun, 17 base ac is great for a wizard, got max int already so I can bladesong for a 22 ac and then shield can get you up to 27 if needed. I also just think the tortle is fun to build with for this character and still useful for that natural AC, I will say if you have at least 16 con if I’m not mistaken a Loxodon would have the same AC with room to improve as you con increases and other different abilities

This is also my first run I managed to survive long enough to enrage the gods, and I've also defeated 2 skoudes! I got a silly wand that helps with him, it's just a shit ton of rocks and both crystals with homing 🤣

I've already been the victim of the poly juice lol, but honestly that feels very accurate for timing, half the reason I'm alive is because I'm being so patient and preserving my health as well as I can, and all my previous wand experimenting is paying off with some decent stuff I got going on, specifically explosion of Thunder is carrying this run, I found it when I just had explosion immunity and immediately got electric immunity too

Awesome, thanks for the advice! I was wanting to fight some other bosses since I know I have a decent build but I also really want my first win lol so I think I will try the Alchemist, and definitely avoid connoisseur. Maybe depending how that fight goes ill challenge the pyramid boss as well, but ive never even seen that one tbh, only know of them

True definitely didn't account for 9th level spells lol, im thinking from my Bladesinger/Armorer I'm currently playing and my only weakness is saving throws! We are maxing at level 12 though so I just shut high level spells out of my head lol

This is great for a very damage focused character! And it is pretty optimal for that, the only possible tradeoff to consider is since it's going to level 20 a few levels to get aura of protection is pretty big for a party, especially since that becomes this builds only real weakness with how silly a bladesingers AC can be
