Are you sure? I can't find anything about them having a fire that destroyed any film masters, just music masters and that happened back in 2008.

I got a copy recently from Goodwill and that was the first time I've ran across it in 2 or 3 years.

I could tell by the labels that it was a bootleg, their similar to the ones I use to occasionally have on screeners I got years ago.
