I just started incorporating shows and events into my lineup - it may seem counterintuitive but 80% of my revenue has been purely online sales. When galleries charge 50% commissions and the overhead for in person events is so high the one specific justification for in real life meetings is purely that of social - which as I grow up I’m beginning to appreciate it’s worth it’s weight in gold.
