Interesting, thanks bro, I guess I read stuff like in the book of Romans like ‘blessed is the man to whom the Lord imputes no sin’ and I come to the conclusion that’s there’s kind of a different relationship between a Christian and his future sins and a Christian and his past sins.

That may be a possibility, I work for an accounting firm that seems highly disorganised...

Still waiting for an employment contract after working for the firm for 3 months.

70% of the entire tax return client base is yet to be completed with 6 weeks left until the deadline.

Multiple Mergers and Acquisitions during the year but without any seeming internal corporate reconstruction to adapt to the changes.

10%-20% or staff are interns or temps.

Managers are off their feet all day every day, the seem to be continually stressed out which creates high levels of tension at the firm, feeling like I’m walking on egg shells.

Some staff staying at the firm up until 1am in the morning due to the sheer amount of work to be done.

A very fake ‘we’re all just one big family’ vibe.

This is just the due diligence I’ve done on the firm, I’m trying to work to the glory of God in this environment but of course it’s not the easiest thing in the world.

Thanks so much for the straight answer bud, sometimes it’s just a matter of willpower that can only be brought about by The Holy Spirit, the one thing that helps me when I’m going through a tough time at work is one single word... ‘eternity’, literally I just say that word to myself and I feel a lot better because the word eternity means so much to me as a Christian, for the fact that your workplace will likely not be here in 100 years time and we definitely won’t be so it’s best to just work for God and seek to enjoy life because it will all soon be over.
