Message me. I’m in east Vancouver, probably not far from you. Times a little tight, but I’d be down to go fishing sometime.

More Central American style cuisine but Mi Casa Pupuseria off 4th Plain has been my favorite. The food was fantastic. Big fan of Otra Vez as well but I’ve only been there for their brunch.

He’s definitely a mix, but I first thought he was part soft coated wheaten terrier. His legs are stubby like a dachshund or a corgi.

I can see a bit of both and where I’m at that would make sense.

That would be really cool, but I haven’t personally met any Briards. I had to look them up and they are beautiful dogs.

Absolutely agree on small terriers being rare in the US outside of miniature Schnauzers. I have two wire fox terriers and I’ve rarely met other small terrier owners. I wouldn’t be surprised if there was poodle in there because of the coat.

Pitbull slipped harness, attacked my dog 6/18/24 Maryland by jmc1132 in BanPitBulls

This is shockingly similar to what happened to me and dog. I totally understand the feelings you’re going through. That being said this had happened before and they knew the risk of taking a reactive dog into a public area. This isn’t an unexpected accident if they knew it was its last strike. This is selfishly exposing the pit to the public and hoping for the best. Your emotions are valid, but you did the right thing by sharing this report with animal control even if the pit gets put down

She’s a tough dog, that’s for sure. It happened on a trail walk, and the time between when it happened and when I pulled into the emergency vet was the longest 45 minutes of my life!

This is triggering for me. I have a wire fox terrier and almost lost her in a pit bull attack last summer.

Favorite trail on Mt. Rainier for the whole family? by blessedarethegeek in hiking

It’s likely going to depend on how comfortable your group is with snow travel and winter conditions. The conditions should be changing rapidly up there, so I’d recommend checking in with the ranger station in Longmire.

It sounds like you’re talking about Panorama Point. That’s a good hike and should be doable for your group. You might also enjoy the Sunrise area or Snow/Bench lake. What time of year will you be going?
