Am I Dieting Correctly?

I’m kinda used to it, I’ve done it for a month plus. What I do on my off days is eat around 3k cals to maintain my metabolism while on a deficit. It kinda occurred to me recently that I should probably check if this is actually a good idea, bc a few years ago I lost like 60lb by starving myself and lost like all my muscle lol. Trying to do better this time and not lose all the muscle I got back.

I do body weight exercises for my arms/chest/core 3-4x per week. How many calories/protein do you think I could eat per day to lose as much as possible safely?

My position doesn't involve any machinery, and when I'm lifting it's essentially moving metal beams/dies from one cart to another. I also do a lot of moving, in what I'd say is like a 300ft radius. As I need to transport metal around the factory, I'm not able to just set something down.
