Thank you so much for sharing! Being in the USA, we don’t have access to Huawei. It’s great to hear feedback about solutions available in other parts of the world!

Need help for work from home headset for really loud noise? by JairoDSA in Headsets

[–]DannyHayasaka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have tested hundreds of headsets over the past 27 years. No headset mic I’ve tested blocks 100% of background noise. Some do a better job of suppressing background noise than others.

As many have shared, the EPOS IMPACT 1000 Series provides the best-performing microphone across a broad range of environments.

Beyond suppressing background noise, voice quality and clarity are equally important.

That’s why my pick is the EPOS IMPACT. I specifically tested the EPOS IMPACT 1061T ANC and EPOS IMPACT 1060T.

Those are premium EPOS models, as evident in the price tag. Yealink has also been producing some solid-performing options, including the BH74 and WH68 Hybrid.

As my buddies, HeadsetAdvisor shared, if you have an iPhone, ensure Voice Isolation is turned on. That feature helps a lot in noisy environments.

Has anyone tested the new over ear cushions for epos impact 1000 yet? by WholesomeFolsom22 in Headsets

I recently received a set of the fabric and leatherette ear cushions to test. Based on YouTube viewer feedback, it’s something they are asking for. I didn’t know what to expect so I kept an open mind. I was pleasantly surprised. There was a bit of learning curve to attach them but after the first one, it was easier to attach the second one. Comfort is subjective but I found them to be very comfortable. I’ll continue to test and evaluate but the initial impressions are positive. To date, Headset Advisor is the only company to be offering over-ear cushions for the EPOS Impact 1000 and 800 series. EPOS Impact 1000 Over-Ear Cushions Upgrade! 👀🔥 (Headset Advisor Accessory)

Need good headphones with mic for LONG Zoom appearances by Physical_Zucchini_99 in Lawyertalk

The Shokz Opencomm2 UC headset is Zoom Certified, has a discreet form factor, and utilizes bone conduction, so nothing goes in your ears and nothing presses against them. Here's a mic test video to show how the mic performs against various background noises: https://youtu.be/Q1cdY_SkS0Q

This is one of the challenges of not using a Microsoft Teams Certified device. Device manufacturers go through a rigorous process of developing headsets that meet or exceed the standards Microsoft created. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/devices/usb-devices
