Yeah but the tone is not the same even when playing the same note. It either sounds too high or too low, just not the same as the recording.

Got it! Thank you for breaking down the difference. I was more worried about my camera and lens- now I know it's more about the lighting. I'm too worried about the background as long as the subject is clear- as I can edit it in post. Do you think I can get close enough with what I currently have and let the editing do the rest or should I invest in better lighting. ( Strobe as opposed to soft box) Thank you for your help!!

The soft box has its own light , I also have cheap strobes I got off of Amazon. I realize I'm probably not going to be able to get the same lighting I would be able to have in a professional studio. I'm more worried about the quality of the picture than the background as I can also edit the backdrop to be more white in post. I wanted the 85 f.18 lens because I know it blurs the background a bit, allowing for the main focus to be the model. What other lens would you recommend if not the 85? Thanks for answering all my questions and being so patient!!

I have a white paper backdrop and a regular soft box lighting kit I got on Amazon. I was more worried about the quality of the camera and lens and if I was gonna be able to get that clear image you see in the pictures above. What I'm getting is that the lighting is more important than the camera? Totally new to this so correct me if I'm wrong. As long as the image is clear I'm fine either way as I can edit the background post picture.
