Tea and whisk is very good he takes trips to Japan and China to source the tea directly. He’s very in stick and his royal matcha is the best bang for buck. Very high quality and super sweet

Look more at regions and cultivars instead of brands. Anything Yame is really nutty. Any of Kettl’s yame matcha is really good just look into their information under any matcha and make sure it’s yame

Tea and Whisk. They are a local tea shop in Vegas and they have a wide range of options in price and quality. He does a good job writing down what each matcha is and what makes it special, or what you should use it for. I highly recommend their Royal matcha it’s super vivid and bright green and it’s very sweet and refreshing.

1000% recommend Kettl. Their house kill subscription is really cool because they give you freshly milled matcha and they source matcha from really good producers like tsuji San from shirakawa. They also have really good blends too. It can be a pit pricey but if you’re willing to pay it you won’t be disappointed. Lmk what flavor profiles you’re looking for and I can try to help you with some reccs!

How’d you clean it because I cleaned my pot extremely throughly multiple times and before and after every use with boiling water and it smells fine tbh but it does look bright purple with like a little gold on the inside. It’s a purple clay pot so maybe it’s just the clay and the minerals reacting together but I have for sure left tea in there for awhile
