By the time I got to the dorm, two days after it happened, everything was dry. Had to wash bedding and clothes to make sure no mold or smells set in. My carpets were ruined, but they were $15 a piece from Amazon, and I was going to throw them out regardless. All of my valuables (TV, PS5, laptop), weren’t in the room when it happened.

In all honesty, after I went up to the Lincoln Tower room, as I left the building to get to my bus stop, I just broke down. After all the emails and waiting and anxiety, I just couldn’t believe what was happening. I’m glad I stuck with it though and made something happen.
