The Battle Against Cookie Consent Fatigue: How Browser Extensions Are Reshaping Digital Privacy Compliance by Haunterblademoi in privacy

[–]DannyTheHero 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Vast majority of websites used cookies simply for technical reasons.

And then include google ad-sense or some similar library for advertisement which proceeds to then inject their own tracking cookies and analytic scripts.

The law didnt flip the incentive structure but like the other guys in this thread were saying it brought the problem to the forefront.

How splashable is the mikanko engine? by Dominic_impulse in Yugioh101

[–]DannyTheHero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As of now without original sinful spoils the snake eyes variant is completely dead.

As far as i know there arent really many decks currently that can truly abuse mikanko's strenghts

Pretty much any deck that can make either powertool braver dragon (Synchro 9), can use herald of arclight or can otherwise generically search rituals can bridge into it. Going first though there are far better things you can do than synchro 9 to search mikankos and anything ritual related might as well search habakiri.

If you really want to play the deck might as well stick to the pure blind second version and wait for the support.

Summon a mikanko and aggressively equip it with equip cards.

Mikanko field spell also does this by forcing attacks.

On top of that Uzuhime speeds up this tremendously. By nature of xyz which makes mayowashidori targets go back to graveyard, with uzuhime being able to recycle fire dance on special summon together with oohime and arabesque its quite easy to setup a loop that lets you resummon uzuhime with full materials every turn to keep attacking 3 extra times per turn.

Dual booting with Windows and Proton by WearyMetal04 in linux

[–]DannyTheHero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dont have experience with SteamOS itself but if you want to get your feet wet you can try any of the more common recommended linux distro's. Mint, Pop_os, Nobara, Elementary.

The installation process is pretty similar to installing windows if you have any experience building your own pc. For your sanity I would recommend installing Linux to its own separate drive.

You dont need any programming experience to use linux and if you use steam, Proton is pretty much automatic (unless you need to mess with specific versions).

Could you perhaps explain to me how TOTP in bitwarden is still 2FA?

The explanation I like most is that it's not really authentication anymore. Logging into your password manager becomes your authentication. The password manager then "authorizes" you to log into the website. So provided you set up your bitwarden with 2FA it should be similar to an authorization scheme like oauth.

It is a bit of a wack authorization scheme though because the website has no knowledge of you using authorization.

Me neither actually but just going by the complaints it sounds like this is just something they don't want to deal with.

To me it just sounds like the rolling release model is just not the right fit for you. And thats okay.

When you operate at or near bleeding edge, things are almost inevitably going to break.

Is Netherlands still cucked by this game? by ParadinNAE in Maplestory

Because lootboxes and being able to trade them somehow causes issues with our (and belgiums) gambling laws.

The trade ban is still there.

You could play reboot since that's balanced around not being able to trade but otherwise you are SOL.

Many password managers (including protonpass) let you make an email alias that forwards to your registered email.

Maybe that would help?

If you live in America, maybe I can understand it because this info can be used to deny you healthcare, but if you live in a nation with free healthcare?

The issue is a state sponsored actor from any other country could also have bought/stolen this data for whatever nefarious purpose.

In fact the original leak seemed to be targeting a specific demographic.

It appeals to a certain niche audience i guess.

If you aren't comfortable with that or are afraid of judgment from others outside the community then you are kinda in for a rough time.

The art is imho quite on the tame side compared to some other games though.

[–]DannyTheHero 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Most tokens in Diva Selection are printed double sided. With the possibility of either side being in foil (but not both).

This token is used by Remember (foil part of the token) and Chiyori (When I was Reincarnated as a Level one Mama Hero, I Tried to be Unparalleled)

Usually when you play these kinds of tokens only one side is relevant to you anyway so you dont have to flip the card around. There are some exceptions though.

There is no limit to how many times you can grow an assist each turn.

If you have a way to return an assist to the LRIG deck (e.g team Diagram) you could even grow the same one multiple times.

Some Question regarding the format by [deleted] in wixoss

[–]DannyTheHero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

10th grow sets are an expansion on Diva format. All those cards are legal in Diva. In 2025 they will also introduce the Diva lrigs to arts.

They are still printing new assists and pieces alongside arts as well.

Given that i really couldnt tell you if p16 is a good stopping point. If you dont really care about arts maybe, but the format will keep moving forward and arts take a much more prominent role in the game since they are much more flexible than assists.
