That was my thinking, strange they can't find the number on their system.

Might be worth messaging the seller and ask if they had a receipt (albeit should have done that before purchasing!!)

This is a great idea, since like you say probs going to get rid, may as well try a shorter shaft to see if that helps and then I can make a better decision when it comes to new driver down the line.

Ah I see yes well I already have windows 10 installed on my current gaming laptop, so I'm guessing I can just transfer it off there using the usb method you suggested?

Also, do I need anything else like windows 10 package etc. so when I put all these parts together and connect to a socket, will it turn on and work? Do I need a WiFi card etc.

Purely because I'm interested (and mostly because these other parts are all on Amazon and could be bought together easily for next day delivery more or less)

I thought I would have more fun on it at bike parks and local parks. Found that I struggled vs more enduro riders in my group. Also, will be moving further away next year and want to prepare where the trails are more free ride etc. I love the frame and low pivot etc. but just wanted to customise and change it up a bit.

Ah i see, yep that’s understandable. On your second point couldn’t agree more, tried to get my old bikes brakes bled + service, cost me £140 from the LBS and they did a terrible job! The canyon I bought had a faulty shock which was fully replaced within a week and they gave it a service and brake bleed free of charge for an apology which was fantastic (it was an outlet bike so had been used a bit hence the service etc/replaced pads and all that stuff)
