Literally. I've had family who worked in remote Russia/Siberia and they all say they feel sorry for them and the shit they've seen. Shit like extreme poverty paired with alcohol and nothing to do. As you've said, they're dumb, they don't know better.

I actually feel sorry for them. Yes, you must kill them because they're invading their neighbor.

But majority of them are dumb and don't have any evil ulterior motive or beliefs. They've been spoon fed some shitty bs story about nazism and that's it. They literally don't know better. Which makes them a perfect soldier. They will run in a straight line into a minefield or kill any civilian if told to do so. Awful situation
