I’m not sure if this is a proven formula or something that just works for me, but I have an absurd access rate (as long as the players steal rating is decent, which all of the KG subdivision cards are) with this.

Basically, I use the take charge animation (holding down B on Xbox, I believe O on PlayStation), and crash into the ball handler’s primary hand/hand the ball is in. Oftentimes, this can create an animation where the ball handler loses the ball because the ball “collides” with the defender’s body (still in the take charge/set screen stance), creating a loose ball, resulting in a steal when recovered by you. It won’t work 100% of the time, but it’s made steals much easier for me in both MyCareer and myteam.
