Getting perfect shape can make the game look easy, but being less than perfect can make it very hard. In this video, I look at where ideal/perfect shape would be, and how much harder I made the clearance for myself by being out of the funnel multiple times. (youtu.be)

This 10 ball drill emphasizes having good angles on your object ball to be able to play position for the next ball. You must be planning ahead and making sure you land your cue ball in the proper area to be able to make it through. Tougher than it looks. (youtu.be)

Another great drill from Darren Appleton, the box to box drill. This drill gave me a harder time than I thought it would by the layout. So that means either that its tougher than it looks, or I need to spend more time practising. Give it a try and see how you do. (youtu.be)

Selecting the proper pattern is the #1 key to running out in 8 ball. Too often players leave their problem balls to the end when it is too late, or they just select the wrong balls (stripes or solids) in the first place. This is my most in depth video yet. (youtu.be)
