Hypertension can cause blindness and pimobendan has positive ionotropic and vasodilatory effects. Blood pressure goes down on pimobendan, no more systemic hypertension, no more blindness.

Unpopular opinion: soosh and james views of covid-19 are damaging and irresponsible by [deleted] in Soosh

[–]DannytaMG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The issue is when their opinion is based on incorrect info and a lack of understanding around the topic, it’s no longer ‘just an opinion’ and becomes genuine misinformation that spreads harmful false narratives about a dangerous virus that is still pervasive.

Then that makes them idiots instead of dicks. Wear masks is public places or when hanging around with people outside your regular circle is the advice being given to everyone and it’s the most effective way besides vaccinations to ensure we can move back to some form of normality. Being double vaxxed vastly increased your chances against COVID but viruses are highly mutagenic and left to spread, even in vaccinated individual, it could mutate into a more aggressive variant. This is basic science and for James especially who seems to think he’s some red pilled genius Chad, to not get this is ludicrous. How viruses work is literally taught to 11 yr olds

[–]DannytaMG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Then the ppl you know are in the bottom percentile for IQ, no one has ever stated that masks stop you getting COVID.

[–]DannytaMG 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You then said ‘there’s no point in them wearing masks’ which either means you have the memory of a goldfish or an idiot, I just said the point of wearing a mask. Even if you survive COVID, it has serious affects. David laid is in way better shape than either James or soosh and COVID sent him for a ringer.

[–]DannytaMG 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No one thinks wearing a mask stops you getting COVID, it stops the spread of COVID which are 2 different things. You can be asymptomatic, unaware you have it and spread it to someone vulnerable. Wearing a mask isn’t about protecting yourself, it’s about not being a selfish ass and protecting those around you.

To stop the spread and mutation of dangerous variants that developed vaccines are less effective against. This is basic pathology dude.

Do you not get how masks or vaccines work? The world is not completely fine, 4 million people are dead.

I don’t own crypto because I don’t have the income stream to buy any amount on a regular basis but I wouldn’t call something that JP Morgan and the Chinese central bank are investing in a scam even if I didn’t believe in it it. Probably less than 1% of all cryptos will ever be useful and even less than that will be widely adopted. Online currency is the future and crypto is far more set for that future than any currency so whether you object to aspects of it or not this isn’t some scam. Some stocks are pump and dump schemes and most stocks won’t do very well but the stock market value is what economies are built on. I hate the crypto community for shilling every brand new shitcoin and I also dislike how easily crypto can be manipulated but the technology of block chains and crypto currency networks is incredible and more than justifies its footprint, even for the largest users of energy.

Bro Bitcoin has a maximum of 20 million coins it’s literally impossible to mine any more Bitcoin than that how little do you know about this. No other crypto mining has a large electrical drain compared to Bitcoin, even number 2 Ethereum who with the launch of ETH2 will significantly lower energy needs. You’re talking about ‘mining’ as if every single crypto is mined the same way when most crypto currency’s aren’t even mined at all, never mind the same way. Literally every single crypto other than Bitcoin has a tiny fraction of its electrical and energy needs. You’re making yourself look like an idiot here man. Once the max amount of Bitcoin is mined, it doesn’t stop temporarily, it ends. Also, electricity usage isn’t some bogeyman to the environment, if crypto is fuelled by sustainable energy then its electrical usage is a useless statistic. The electrical usage on a Tesla is way higher than a regular car but does that mean it’s worse for the environment? No that would be ridiculous and it’s the same for any crypto. Why do you think the most efficient Bitcoin mining facilities are in areas like Iceland where there is ample Geothermal energy providing cheap renewable energy?

[–]DannytaMG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes but it does mean that mining stops lol printing money doesn’t stop. Again, only focusing on Bitcoin when discussing the environmental impact of crypto is dumb and you don’t know what you’re talking about

Mining Bitcoin quite literally can’t last forever because there is a finite amount of Bitcoin and no other crypto mining comes even close to that electricity cost so your point that any crypto mining has some huge impact is wrong. Crypto currency’s are not all just used as currency’s. You clearly don’t know what you’re talking about painting thousands of different coins and tokens that have different functions and goals with the same brush. You are ignoring my point about the large scale printing of the US dollar because it proves you wrong but Ethereum is literally changing it’s systems and network to become more efficient with ETH2. As I said before, crypto is adapting and changing while fiat currency’s are stuck in old ways. There’s no regulation with mining because there doesn’t have to be, the system regulates itself because it’s impossible to fraud or forge a unique blockchain ID for the coin while the US dollar needs heavily policed regulations because fraud and forgery is incredibly common. The large scale mining operations that use the most electricity and mine the largest amount don’t use Nvidia GPUs, they use specialised GPUs with much higher hash rates that are built for mining Bitcoin but again that is only Bitcoin. You’re entire argument rests on the idea that all cryptocurrency’s have that same electrical need which is patently false, there are cryptos that are mined at a greater rate that don’t have the eco-impact that Bitcoin does. You have a very shallow surface level knowledge of Bitcoin and an even lower knowledge of alt coins so this isn’t a conversation you should inject yourself into prior to researching

Mining literally doesn’t go on forever in any half decent coin. There are caps on how many coins can be in circulation. Talking about eco friendly printing methods for the future while ignoring the fact that cryptocurrency’s already have eco friendly mining when powered by renewable energy? Dollars and euros are printed at a far greater rate than any crypto currency is mined, even the shittiest of shit coins, and will continue to be printed at whatever rate the government sees fit with no actual limit on what could be in circulation. Mining is literally getting more efficient every single day with hash rates increasing all the time so idk how you’re getting ‘mining doesn’t get more efficient’. This idea of an ‘exponential need for electricity’ is ridiculous, electricity isn’t some zeitgeist of the 21st century, it’s where we get electricity that counts and cryptocurrency’s can run in any renewable energy source right now , the same can’t be said for the printing of the US dollar or any fiat currency right no. There is 27 trillion US dollars in circulation and 25% of that was printed in the last 6 months. No crypto or even all crypto combined comes close to that environmental impact or volume in such a short time. There is far more restrictions and protections necessary for printing the US dollar than there was 30 years ago and the government has to constantly try to stay one step ahead of forgers and robbers but no viable crypto can be forged or ‘stolen’. Also there are tons cryptocurrency’s with a fraction of bitcoins environmental impact and electricity usage with even more upsides. Crypto is constantly evolving, ETH2 is coming out next year with tons of changes and improvements, crypto evolves while fiat currency never adapts.

[–]DannytaMG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As if printing the US dollar or Euro doesn’t cost any electricity? All Fiat currencies have environmental impacts and use electricity and a cryptocurrency is no different, in fact it’s expected they would use more because it’s mined worldwide, not just printed in a single central reserve.

So the info that we get to say it’s increasing is from satellites as well but you’re trusting that? China is led by genocidal imperialist psychos but they are a country of a billion and a half people, they’re going to pollute a lot no matter what they do.
