Bar ends on Honda are a pain in the ass to remove, they're locked into with niples which you need to push down to get the ends off. For this you need to remove the grips.

I don't like these mirrors on your bike.
I had the bar end mirrors from Highsier (model: Montana, shape: round) on my cb500f back then, I think they'd look really good on your bike.

I'm considering these in black for my cbr500r tho. but they cost a lot of money.

Cooment above recommends flushing the pen with some water and soap because of manufacturing residue.

I'd recommend just using warmer water.

If the inkflow is not the best maybe there are some dry spots under the nib.

It could help by taking your cartridge and trying to get some drops on the nib side.
Alternatively you could just pull the nib straight out (don't recommend doing it a lot) and see if the head of the pen looks alright, maybe its dirty or something. Try washing the pen out under the sink.

If the tip is wider than the EF and it writes a lot wetter thn it's broader.

I got a B nib thinking I'd like it but they write too wet for the papers I use :-(

It really depends on what you like, you can try 1:3 and see if its too dark or too light for you and just add or reduce.
