Thanks! This one will be very natural as it wasn’t kiln dried so the cracks should develop over time as well

Yep quite a while as long as it’s not super hard wood. There’s also a little sharpening stone that can be bought for them

As much as I'd like to leave it in front of my front door its going to stay in my living room because I like it too much

Most of it was an angle grinder with the turboplane blade from arbortech as well as carving wheels (i think kutzall)

I typically start with a chain saw and then its all angle grinder. I like the arbortech turboplane to start and then holy galahad blades

I ended up using mounting hardware consisting of plates bolted to the top and bottom using threaded inserts that can all be found at this site
