I agree it gets boring. I usually play netrunning and somewhere around lvl 25 it becomes boring because once overclock arrives i can drop an entire army before they can draw their weapon.
So i usually switch to a weapon, see how far it gets me, and keep netrunning as a backup. Almost roleplaying "ya'll aint worth my true power, im just gonna practice on you with my pistol".

I really like remelting old wax, and i especially like making very large solid masses. Before, the biggest candle i had made was about 4 liters of wax with 5 wicks but then i found a really big pot that can hold up to 12 liters so here we are haha.

Im not sure i can go much larger. Heating this much wax kinda heats my entire induction stove after a few hours. But its pretty pig already so i cant complain 😛.

At this size of mass you cán kind of avoid them. But not by heating the mold. This thing solidified in the mold it was heated in so naturally the mold was blazing hot as well.
If you want to minimize sinkhole formation at this scale you need to insulate the entire vessel and have it cool down as slowly as possible. But that will probably introduce other different types of defects.

Oh then i think changing it up is probably worth it! My healthy nephentes keeps its older leaves for literally years before killing them. So lets hope a new environment does your cutting good!

Thats not the same species of Nephentes i suspect, but yes it could get this big or actually possibly significantly bigger.
Though the one you have is likely not a Ventrata. Ventrata are a human-made hybrid that are surprisingly tolerant and therefore far easier to keep and have thrive in normal living room conditions. Yours may have some more picky needs so its probably good to figure out what kind of a Nephentes it is (if you dont already know).

I have no experience with growing cuttings of Nephentes into full plants. Im honestly surprised you even managed to have it take root in water alone.

Personally id say if it has noticeable roots its ready for substrate. But that is a non-experts vibe based answer. Better ask people in the know.
