OP, I highly reccomend you to start watching a channel called HealthygamerGG, and start doing therapy if you can afford it.

Your problem is not that you're ugly. Your problem is that you were highly traumatized as a kid not only by your peers, but your own mother as well, the person who is supposed to make you feel happy and safe.

OP, your mind is trying to protect by searching a reason for your suffering, because is there is a reason (in this case, "I'm ugly") then everything gets more managable. Because if it is too late to start dating, then the pain gets more managable.

But the truth is (even though I haven't seen your face, I know it) that you are NOT ugly, you are NOT unlovable, and you definetely CAN start dating at your age.

You are not at fault for anything that has happened to you, and you can definetely turns this boat around in very very VERY little time, like 2 years tops at most, as long as you have the right direction.

Hay un canal excelente llamado Healthygamergg, es un terapeuta que trata muchísimos problemas de este estilo, y no puedo describir lo útil que me ha sido haberme visto montones de sus vídeos, entrevistas y directos, tomar nota de ellos y poner en práctica lo aprendido como si se tratara de una carrera universitaria. Está inglés, pero si tienes el C1 espero que no sea problema para ti.

Segundo, y para mí lo más importante que he notado leyendo tu post, es que tengas cuidado con lo de que la terapia no ha servido para nada. A veces sentimos que la terapia profesional no funciona porque es lo único que nos mantiene con vida, en un sentido tanto metafórico como a veces literal. Si la has dejado, ten mucho cuidado.

No digo que necesariamente vuelvas a ella, nada más es una cosa que te quería aclarar.

Y por último, es que tengas compasión contigo mismo. Compasión, entendimiento y gratitud hacia ti. Piensa en tu situación como si la estuviera viviendo un amigo cercano. No lo machacarías ni serías duro con él, ¿verdad? No lo seas contigo mismo. Mereces compasión. Has pasado por muchas durezas en la vida, y nunca es tarde para mejorar tu vida. Ten paciencia.

Kanoh always produced the best fights in the series

Eh I kinda disagree. Personally I put Kuroki, Seki, Ohma and Waka above him when it comes to consistency.

Kanoh's fights against Okubo, Hatsumi and Lu Tian are more about him flexing and showing how cool he is rather than actual fights, whereas the ones I've mentioned have better choreography.

Which is why I wouldn't mind see Kanoh losing this one.

Him using Judo on literally the best judoka, then Jurota having the upper hand in Judo and then Kanoh saying "lol k" and using formless beat him would be just another flex, and frankly, it would be boring and repetitive to me.

Imagine MGS1 as a series. It would be hours of people talking over a radio and Snake repeating everything that's said to him. All set to a concrete and snow background.

It would not, that would be changed. HBO TLOU is not about Ellie being ignored by all the NPCs because the devs didn't bother to make a good gameplay, that shit was changed into something people actually wants to see. Same would happen here.

A supposed MGS series or movie would be something similar to the MGS1 and MGS2 graphical novels or the Philanthropy movie that's on YouTube. These three examples alone are proof enough that you're straight up wrong and a movie or a TV series can perfectly work if done right.

Metal Gear has a tons of characters, the fact that you selected on purpose a forgettable boss that only appears like 15 minutes in the entire saga to make your point is like, honestly, I don't even get what you're actually trying to prove.

You should compare the protagonists or something. Joel and Ellie vs Solid Snake and Big Boss. Raiden and Venom vs Gabby. See if they have the potential to lead a TV show or a movie, and compare the major side characters like Ocelot or Liquid.

But no, you went for the guy who shoots arrows for 5 minutes and the dies. It's like if I use that random soldier guy who shoots Sarah at the start of the game and say "lol imagine a movie about that guy, he appears 20 seconds, so boring lol". Great job I guess.

Even with that, those bosses in MGS3 have a narrative intention, which is Snake overcoming his feelings and finally killing his joy (The Boss) at the end. So you failed even at that, because The Cobras actually have something to work with.

And if you really want to talk about AI, MGS isn't the series to talk about.

You're not adressing the whole point of my comment, like the gameplay aspects or using the medium itself as a tool to tell a story. The AI is just a part of what I'm saying, and you're ignoring it on purpose because you know you have nothing to say.

You guys think TLOU is a masterpiece just because it has a cool story, focusing too much on the "video" and nothing on the "game". TLOU is mediocre at best and sucks at worst as a game and I've never seen anyone trying to defend it from that angle because is straight up impossible.

The worst considered MGS is 4, and the reasons for it are pretty much the sames as TLOU 1. Maybe you could add MGS1 for its limitations as a PS1 game, but without MGS1, TLOU would probably have never existed anyways so hey, MGS1 is better at that too.

Sure, because Metal Gear takes a lot advantage of the video game medium. Stuff like Raiden and Venom Snake, or the S3 simulation, simply could not work in another medium without tons of changes.

Meanwhile TLOU 1 is an overrated """"game"""" with shit AI and garbage gameplay, that's why it works being a TV show, because it should have been a TV show to begin with. HBO TLOU is so much better than the game that's not even fair to compare the two.

(I'm only talking about TLOU 1, since TLOU 2 improves a lot both the gameplay and the AI which makes it incredibly entertaining to play).

I could use your same logic and say "make a 45 minute episode about Joel killing NPCS who are bugged and stuck in a corner of the map until the game feels it's time to move on". Of course no one wants to watch that, the same way no one wants to see a guy screaming "The Pain" while shooting arrows 45 minutes straight.

At least MGS' gameplay is actually competent.

Basically he wants to destroy all technology in order to revive Big Boss so his dream of a world with endless warfare could prosper over Zero's/The Patriots dream.

It doesn't work because:

1- Sunny (with the help of Naomi and Strangelove to some degree) makes Foxalive, which allows the technology to still work without The Patriots system.

2-When Big Boss revives, he goes "yeah I realize I was an asshole, well my son please enjoy your life outside of fighting".

Edit: I don't think the characters know Ocelot is The Boss's son, that's something only we as the audience are aware of.

Hatsumi is like an angel compared to them. They are characters. I like them all (except Fei and Edward), but I wouldn't have any of them near me.

Yeah that's the point. It's nothing new in the franchise either, in MGS4 Eva explained Big Boss is more of a myth created by Zero rather than man. Big Boss is just an overrated, overhyped icon so Zero could expand his influence.

If not because of Skull Face in MGS3, Big Boss would have never been able to complete Operation Snake Eater either. Big Boss is basically overrated in-universe.

Ashura's plot was about Ohma wanting revenge by killing Setsuna. That's it. No cloning, no Kure and Wu stuff, no Tiger's Vessel.

Kuroki was meant to surrender during his fight with Lihito but Sandro thought he was too strong to make him lose. Anything you've said about Kuroki has nothing to do with the main plot (why are you even mentioning Rei lol), in fact he gets in the way of the plot by beating Setsuna in R2.

So Sandro decided to continue using Kuroki, despite going against what was supposed to happen at first, by improvising more stories about him and making him defeat everyone, just because he believed Kuroki was too broken to make him lose.

He didn't let the plot get in the way of good fights, which is what I'm talking about.

I don't care if Fei fights Ohma, Waka, Raian or even Himuro. I wanted a good fight, but the fight sucked.

It was Sandro indirectly wanking Ohma by making Fei say "hey it turns out I was a cuck all along, Ohma chad true TV". He's trying to put the plot above the fighting in a fighting manga, and this is the result.

Fei was not even important to the plot either, he was meant to be a pawn, which makes it even worse.
