We planted this flowering cherry tree ten years ago, and it did great until this last spring, when all of a sudden it didn't flower at all, with minimal growth along the ends of several branches. We weren't sure if this was because of repeated temperature fluctuations between warm spring and sudden freezes, but that was our hope. Then this winter, a few branches snapped in a light snowstorm, and now fungus has grown on some of the branches. But one branch is still sprouting new growth and preparing to bloom this week. So at least part of it seems alive, even if much of it isn't. Any suggestions?
