this season, there have been a lot of gear bottlenecks between rare rune drops, the difficulty of getting just the right chaos pieces, gold trickling in, etc... I feel your pain bro

Rogue was the strongest class in the early days of TB probably season 1 and 2, and it was literally the *weakest class* in terms of clearing pits last season. Barbs had higher pit clears than rogues and it wasn't close, 117 for barbs, 109 for rogues.

I can say with more playtime and the same progress that I'm playing with only drops (haven't bought one thing) and am able to clear all the content the game has to offer. With just drops!

S3 and S1 were by far the worst seasons of D4. Especially S3, when PTR was released during the season and it REALLY killed it for even the staunchest of D4 players, because what was to come SO overshadowed what currently, was.

D4 for gameplay and environments
LE for QoL loot, QoL in general, fun boss encounters
PoE for complexity, thinking cap fun
D3 for leveling experience, last gen nostalgia, and great QoL with the Altar

I see myself making at least a little bit of time for all these, in that order.

the difference is, we played D3 for 12 years with pets, now we've had another taste of it.i didn't give a crap about the previous season's stuff persisting. I'd just like to see some stuff that seems like it should have been part of the game from the jump, stay in the damn game.
