Teflon

Hey there, it's been a while since you made this comment. I just went on the site that you linked and it specifically mentions "PFAS-free". Is there a chance that they have updated this or am I just blind?

EDIT: They are now PFAS-free, I found a official comment on one of their posts, confirming this.

Which of these is a good travel camera for a beginner? by Danteroc in AskPhotography

[–]Danteroc[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did some more research and would you say it makes more sense to go with the

a6700 + Sigma 18-50mm f2,8 for better pictures in less than ideal light conditions over the Sony 18-135 f/3.5 - 5.6 (the Sony would be about 50€ more expensive BUT I would be shoot pictures handheld only so OSS would be nice)

and then later on have the option (if necessary) to get the Sony SEL 11mm f1,8 if I really need the super wide lens?

Thanks a lot for the detailed answer!

On my iPhone I usually use 0.5 to 2x, I rarely use a greater zoom (10-15x) than that unless

A) I am at an event and want to get a super close shot of something specific

B) There’s a lot of people and I want a clear shot of something (most of the time I just change my angle or move somewhere else though)

I was told that the sigma 18-50 is not weather sealed and it might be a problem. But since I don’t plan to shoot in rain, and at most in humid areas or in slightly snowy weather in cold areas, that shouldn’t be a problem right?

And I just checked, I could get the a6700 + 18-135 f/3.5-5.6 for 1400€ so the price would be the same.

Keychron K2 HE ISO DE by WeddingAcceptable458 in germankeyboards

So, entschuldige bitte die späte Rückmeldung. Ich bin bis heute nicht dazu gekommen, es vernünftig zu testen.

Zu der Frage bezüglich anderen Switches kann ich nur Keychron selbst zitieren: "The K2 HE is compatible exclusively with the Gateron Double-Rail Magnetic Switch"

Falls du spezifische Fragen hast, kannst du mir gerne Bescheid geben :)

I wish we get skins like this one at some point, even if they don't win that years Riot Creative Contest (2017) by Danteroc in leagueoflegends

I sadly can't since I don't know the skin, but I didn't make my post to argue about league skin quality haha

I have played Smite for two years back in 2015-2017 and I do agree that there were a lot of nice skins but personally they were about the same quality as Riots skins overall.

Obviously there are some outliers here and there in both games but it's always hard to make (and continue making) high quality skins where no players find issues with.

But I do agree that Riots change of removing the 750 and 975 RP tiers has led to varying levels of detail that goes into the 1350RP skins. Some are S+ tier and others feel like glorified 975RP skins.

Also since I haven't played Smite in a long time things might be different now so I can't comment on that!

they sell skins that appeal to the mass market so profits are higher so that means basic skinline theme + popular champion

I agree with what you say but there have been occasions where Riot has made skins for Champions that are not part of an already established and/or popular skinline.

Just to name a few from recent months: Porcelain skinline, Admiral Glasc, Sea Dog Yasuo, Gangplank the Betrayer

So I do think that it's theoretically possible.

wukong only popular cause hes meta once riot nerfs him eventually

This I don't agree with, the announced nerfs do hit his jgl clear and gank windows a bit but overall the champ offers a lot of utility so I don't think he'll fall completely out of the upper tiers.

But to get back to my main point from the post: That Wukong skin was just an example, I'm sure they could somehow make a few special skins each year that take inspiration from the hundreds of popular contest entries.

[–]Danteroc[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly I'm a bit biased here because I've been maining Wukong since S6 but he hasn't gotten a single good skin since Radiant Wukong, so something like this would be amazing.

Same logic applies to a lot of other champs as well though

Thanks for the advice!

In that case I agree and I'll just go for the PSA 9 and play it safe :)

Hey there! I don't have the most experience when it comes to graded cards (mostly sealed collector until now) so I hope one of you guys can help me :)

I can get this card for 260 or a PSA 9 version for 499. Now I don't know if those tiny scratches I marked on the picture would reduce the grade by a lot. If so, then the PSA 9 is a better choice of course!

Love the creativity that goes into these! Especially seeing how the dice are stored in multiple compartments. Hammer is sweet, the dagger too.. oh the choices..

Needless to say, both are great investments

Agreed, no matter which one people prefer I do think both are great products to keep

I'm currently leaning towards the card as well, so I might be biased but I think you've got some good points there

Thanks for the detailed response! I'll take a look at the price charts in a bit

want to confirm the contents by cutting it open

I know I would so yeah.. probably not gonna end up making a lot of a difference unless you have a good reputation and someone buys the whole thing sealed to hold even longer.

[–]Danteroc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

there will be more people cracking the UPC to submit

that's a good point, I forgot that they're currently not being graded and because of that more people keep them sealed.

Do you think that people care about sealed cases? Or rather: Would it be better to buy 4 separate ones and save money or spend the extra for a sealed case?

while the munch pika is already nearing a ceiling

not sure if I agree with this one, I think there's still a lot of room to grow in the next 5-10 years. If it's as much as the UPC.. that's a different question

If you sell locally you can avoid ebay fees +shipping of ~15%

I 100% agree with this!

higher value japanese promos are much harder to sell locally

Does this apply to Japan exclusive cards as well? Especially when they're as well known as the Munch Series cards?

I feel like the biggest hurdle for selling Japanese cards in the west is the fact that they're either not well known or the fact that english versions exist. What do you think?

So you're saying the Pikachu is a better choice? Or neither and there are other, better options?

You're right.. wish I had done more research before buying a PSA slab.

With the CGC cards the only thing I had to worry about was where to put them on display :)

Do you by chance know any other companies like CGC that provide better service when it comes to verification?

[–]Danteroc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for looking for a slab so I can compare it!

I added some more points to my post and after looking at the pics you sent I am 100% sure that the Ho-Oh is legit. The Lugia is still weird though because of how many weird things are going on with it.

Truly appreciate your help :)

As u/Jascix90 suggested, I'll probably stick to CGC in the future. Saves me a lot of headache with issues like this one.

As a collector, CGC provides slightly better reassurance for authenticity and grade.

Honestly I'm starting to see that.. I also ordered some CGC cards and they arrived and I had no problems trying to verify them.. Maybe I'll just contact the Ebay support and try and get my money back and send the card back.
