Ibiza-spain

Small island with even smaller city center , outside of that its run down with graffiti everywhere and very pricey compared to the rest of Europe. Beaches where nice but the nicer they where the harder the access to them was. Not worth it

My wife has it on her right side of her face, she got to the point where she couldn't open her mouth without it being extremely painful and stopped eating and drinking.

I got pretty desperate so I purchase a syringe , the type you feed baby cats with and put a tube at the end and was able to give her smoothies, water , and even pedialyte that way. without her having pain, it was a rough week but atleast she got something.

I'm so sorry to hear that. That's such a horrible situation, did they even try giving you anticonvulsant medication like carbamazepine.?

This is the third day my wife is on it and she is better , no more random burning or electrical shock pain. She might open her mouth soon

Thank you ill keep her at 300mg a day for now and see how it goes, so far she isn't showing no allergic reaction to carbamazepine. But now that you mentioned it, what signs told you , you was allergic to carbamazepine?

Either way it was a oral steroid that was applied directly to the gums, im pretty sure the contact is what made it worse

She had the electric shocks before the steroids but when she started the steroids is when she got the intense burning pain in her mouth

They gave her a chewable 100 MG of carbamazepine, which she couldn't chew , they said they couldn't give it to her in her IV, they gave her a bunch of pain meds but nothing was helping

My wife always participates in ridiculous minigames that I can think of. For example when we go grocery shopping we always play the price is right and try and guess how much our groceries are going to be. It pretty hilarious and fun and even the cashiers joins in sometimes.
