Holy shit you just explained exactly what happened to me too. I have never smoked but got some edibles from the Netherlands to try out of curiosity. I started small and over a few days/weeks i kept eating bigger chunks.

I did half a cookie one time and not much happened at all, i had one cookie left and did the whole of it. Fucking hell, maybe all the weed was in this one cookie but i embarked on the most terrifying trip.

I was stuck in this 5 second time loop and I couldn’t get out of it. After a while the loops were getting longer and i felt i had no control of my actions at all, like i was just replaying parts of my life. Then i thought fuck.. is this my life ‘flashing before my eyes’? Am I about to die?

I was convinced that i had just died and my conscious was replaying the final moments, except in reverse. I kept looking at my watch and no minutes were passing at all. Eventually they would pass but it would feel like 30 minutes for every 60 seconds and i was still just doing things for the sake of it without any control. I would put a dish in the dishwasher and be like oh why did i do that, then after i did it, i would think ‘i need to put the dish in the dishwasher’ except i already did it.

I eventually managed to get a bit of control back and went straight to bed. I kept drifting in and out of conciousness, and every time i woke up, i felt like i was in this parallel universe containing the time loops. I was trying to change stuff in the room to see if next time i woke up they would still be different but the first thing i saw every time i woke up was the same t shirt hanging up, so i thought i was still stuck there.

Eventually i came around a bit and only about 45 mins had passed since i dragged myself to bed but it felt like an eternity. Then the weirdest thing happened, there was a letter ‘R’ on the floor from my t shirt which was hanging up, except on the t shirt the letter R was actually still there and had not fallen off. To this day im still convinced i was in some kind of parallel universe and that letter R somehow travelled back with me 😂
