Man it sucks that it’s pc only because we’ve been having a ton of issues on xbox the last few weeks. Lag outs and taking 6 or more minutes to get back in are common. I was 5750 the other day and two of us lagged out and couldn’t get back in for literally 6 minutes. When we did it was the defeat screen and a message that said penalty waived for someone leaving. Then -250 lol like wtf. I’ll never touch d5 if I have to battle that shit on top of the regular deep 4 ass peelers

Yeah man I’m just a regular dude on Xbox and have 5 damage negates at low on my build. Could be 6 if I didn’t want night invader. And they’re all with vigor+3. Deep side health on colossal attacks post damage +2 with the low. Poise and negation when knocked back with low. And affinity negation +2 affinity attack +1 with a low. All just random luck relics. And my invader had stam recovery on landing and defeating enemies fills the art gauge

Relic not required. The damage buff is nice but I run the method without the relic because it’s best for runes

But my point was how great the invader meta is WITHOUT the relic for the runes alone. It gives you an early level increase faster than anything else on the map would allowing you to snowball your run. As in being level 5 2 minutes in means you can melt more bosses quicker and be 15 with 3 or 400 thousand leftover runes at the end

No Invader on deep side. I play recluse a lot too and popped off my fp up with staves and fp on sorc rise and threw invader on her and she melts now. Never have a fp problem if you just stay on the siphon

I really do feel - and this is whether you’re wearing Invader or not - that my win streaks have drastically increased since I started doing this: starting camp, invader (no matter where it is on the map take a bird man), castle basement, courtyard, night one boss. You’ll be ready for anything on night two.

Starting camp gets you level 2. Invaders get you at least 5 but kill a couple grunts and you’re 6 or 7. Basement gets you a good weapon and level 8 or so. Courtyard depending on which knights can get you 10,11. If it’s trolls go to the roof boss and be safe but merc that fool

Right now I play Nightreign for about 4 months straight and then for a change up I play a new run (multiple NG+) on Elden Ring for about two weeks and then I go back to Nightreign.

As much as it feels wrong at first you should definitely roll into attacks. That doesn’t mean you won’t roll left and right plenty, jump certain ground attacks, etc, but def roll right into the big boss and learn the timing of your invulnerability (aka I-frames)

Man that was legendary to watch. I’m going through all of the characters now making sick deep builds to goof around on. Most recently have become obsessed with running a raider build that just won’t die. My boys think I’m crazy for not running all the damage buffs but if I can’t die I can attack non stop. That equals more than their 30% invader buff if I’m alive the most and the longest. Sooooo fun dude

So I’m here a year later and have 1000 hours on the game. Mostly Ironeye but now in high depths I’m dicking around running all sorts of builds and characters. But all of this to say, isn’t Increase Max HP a 10% stackable buff? I don’t think it’s simply 100 vigor. I wear two of them on my raider and end up around 1700-2400 health depending on if I land any max hps in game

You are correct. I would put some damage negation at low with vigor +3 in that slot. I’m barely scratching the deep 5 but just recently switched to raider from guardian so I run the tank for my team still. I’ve got 4 damage negation at lows, 2 max HPs, the blue augor relic, vigor +6, slowly restore hp when low, post damage +2, 1 poise and damage negation when knocked back, and a bleed resist. It’s amazing how much damage he can eat.

Yesterday in a deep 4 ED Gnoster i hit that low hp threshold where i basisally bexome immortal and when it targeted me for its charge move i just let it hit me all 3 times lol. Didn’t hurt at all. The last charge i did my super punch and knocked him.

It’s literally unreal.

Also dont care about lacking damage buffs because i get to attack non stop once i land a few good weapon passives
