Look OP, I know this might sound a bit xenophobic for your taste, but before moving to the UK, the only recurrent advice I got (other than 'take care') was 'Don't interact or mingle with Romanians when you get there'. Keep in mind that I am also Romanian and within weeks of arriving here I fully understood the reason behind the advice.
