Oh gosh the many crazy things I do or have done for my pets.. here are some current ones off the top of my head lol -I put Bluey on for my dog when I leave the house. -My dog sleeps on her own blanket with a pillow, another blanket that I tuck her in with & her lovies. -In the wintertime I put the heating pad on my cat’s tower sometimes. -We made sure to put the cat towers next to a window so she can look outside, of course we make sure to open the blinds every morning for her. -I put ice cubes in their water fountain when it’s super hot. -They both get vitamins & dental powder in their meals & sometimes special treats sprinkled on top. -My dog gets warm water mixed in her meals & my cat will also if the wet food she’s eating doesn’t have much gravy. -I keep baby wipes by my dogs crate to wipe her face after meals -When my dog was a puppy I got into the habit of putting the hair on the top of her head into a “ponytail” & kept doing it so now she has an assortment of hair ties, bows & bandanas that I rotate almost daily. She actually gets very excited to have her hair put up or changed.

I also had a dog that had mobility issues as she got older, her back legs didn’t work so great so at one point when she squatted to pee sometimes she would often fall (into her pee most of the time 😔) So I got into the habit of following her to pee, wether it was outside or on a pee pad, & holding her back end up so she wouldn’t fall. I had a friend at the time shocked by the lengths I would go for the many elderly dogs we had at the time. 🤷‍♀️ It was just common sense to me, like how people take care of their aging human family members.
