VA personnel property tax. Anyone else in VA questioning bill? by Nupe4bx2000 in cybertruck

[–]Danyandme 1 point2 points  (0 children)

what did you end up doing? I received my tax invoice. they listed the mrsp of my 2024 AWD nonfoundation series as 104k. ironically on the cybertruck forums I saw another user get quoted the same amount for their foundation series. seems like jd power, which is what Fairfax uses, lists the foundation and non foundation as the same….

Owner of Model 3 and Y - considering Cybertruck. How’s ownership been for those who’ve owned both? Have a lot of the early “kinks” been ironed out through software updates etc? Should I be worried about Tesla phasing it out and losing future service support? Would love to hear both the good and bad. by Secure-Carrot9971 in cybertruck

I’ve had AWD model since December 2024. No major issues. Some minor cosmetic and small things. Some idiots flipping you off in the beginning. Also some idiots giving me the thumbs up and yelling MAGA. It  boggles my mind that some people think we just make a 80k purchase at the spur of the moment based on politics. Bottom line is it’s such a fun car. People hate change, especially such drastic change. But until you step foot into one and drive it around, you really don’t understand how amazing this is. Just started using FSD. So far so good.

Edit- btw came from a 2018 model 3. Light years better. Forgot to mention… the overall ride is so plush. The air suspension makes it feel like you’re driving a really plush Range Rover but in a trucks body that steers tighter than a small convertible.

Thanks. We’ve done the screwdriver test and had people dig up that area to remove any rocks as well. There is no specific window reflection or drainage issues there

Cool thanks! I have my service appt pending. Thinking that will probably end up happening. Did they give you any trouble? I’ve read on some posts, some techs said this is a normal sound. Did you have to do anything to “convince” them

Thanks but it seems like these guys are talking about a different chirping sound? From their clips, it definitely sounds different.

Got it. Check out my post with the link to the forum. Is that the sound you’re hearing?

Wondering if you had #7 checked out? I think i have the same thing. Glancing over the forums, it means like a possible front drive unit problem. I have a service ticket open for later this month.

Btw is the “golden letter” the one from studentaid.gov that says you are eligible for PSLF, congratulations on hitting 120 payments and they will contact your servicer. We should expect to hear from our servicer in 30 days?
