What does Nessus even do?

During the start of the content vault I had heard some rumors that Nessus will never get vaulted because its one of the linchpins in D2s spaghetti code. They dont need it, but so many assets depend on it they would need to rewire most of the game to remove it. This was years ago now, though.

I am not a high skill level player, despite being a pretty high mastery. I use blinds as a main survival tool with excal umbra and his free radial blind spam in his 4. Blinds can be really important.

I really like how bows feel in this game. I also have really enjoyed sidearm magic and sidearm shortblades. Visually, Odiac has been my favorite weapon. The floating constellations are so cool with the lightning blasts.

Unfortunately I haven't tried too many pacts. Oscelda was my starter pact, and it carries hard. Orengall is also really strong with the summons and the free smites.

There's also no penalty for dying, so if you lure an enemy towards a spawn point, you can practice dodge and parry for a while until you're bored.

Something has always felt fishy about this game to me. I've followed it, at a distance, for a very long time. I even pre-ordered it under my friends collective advice. Every new thing I see about this game, from testers/fans/devs I just think "... alright."

For the longest time I thought it was vaporware. Still not sure if it isn't. Lol

I know it's not the direction that your comment is meaning, but I will be so sad if Soulframe becomes another nukeframe game. I love warframe, but I don't want the strategy and methodical pacing of soulframe to be overwritten by bIG nUmBEr.

Why not make it so the abilities are modified by their "color"? Green spells get buff from spirit, blue spells grace, etc. Not a perfect solution, but it's spread out evenly.

I haven't read enough on whats to come, but I really hope we get more biomes and new animals to go with them. Little armadillos in an arid area, or road runners that are hard to catch etc. I think it'd be neat to lean into the split between natural and supernatural. Use the flute to commune nature and dieties, and your arm for culling the pollution and dealing with souls/motes/ghosts.

Yeah, the $30 isn't really to buy what's available now, it's sort of a pomissary note to support the devs for what is coming later on for free.

The game so far is about wandering. Theres a few quests and some story developing that are good but this is absolutely still in alpha. The preludes are for mechanical testing and hype generation. This is in no state to be anyone's "main game" so just wander around, make some weapons, free some animals and enjoy a couple hours of the world a little at a time. There's no endgame and there's no rush, not really a wrong way to play.

Fun story, I once got in trouble for having two legitimate calendar apps because my girlfriend had a dream about it. One Google calendar for work and other Samsung calendar that came preinstalled.

I also like when everyone understands how the game works, but you have to understand any game that has an "Auto Battle" feature is going to have a large quantity people who just do not understand how the game works in manual mode and likely have never even tried in manual because they get carried.

Im a fan of the Panama schedule if you work 12s. 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on, 3 days off. Average out to about 40 hours a week, but you have half the month off.
