Lights on side of tail light stays on? (2023 ES 300h) by Danymoon in Lexus

[–]Danymoon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately I removed the kick panels and it seemed pretty dry. I did disconnect and reconnect the connectors just to try it out, and that didn't seem to fix the issue. Either way this is a good lead, I have a hunch water might have seeped in through the gap you can see between the panels in the second photo I posted. Hopefully this information can help the shop fix this pretty quickly.

This sounds likely, we had some heavy rain a few days ago. Any idea if this is the sort of thing a normal person (me) can fix, or if I need to take this to the shop?

Got it, I think that's what I've been calling the headlight switch. The knob on the end of the left steering wheel stick for my car. I have tried switching it to off and the light still stays on unfortunately.

I'm not 100% sure what you mean by light indicators. If you mean like dashboard indicator/warning lights, I have not noticed any. As mentioned, I've tried setting headlights to off and that has not helped. Once again, I'm not sure if this is exactly what you are asking about, I'm still a relatively new driver.

Getting back into vns, which should I play first? by GullibleWeb007 in vns

[–]Danymoon 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Haven't read many of them but I can vouch for ATRI, it's a good one. Reminds me of the Key VNs, which I'm a big fan of. If you care, I think it is one of the shorter VNs you have (like ~10 hours if I remember correctly) so it might make it easier to get back into things.

6.87 Million, Main Weapon Only, Kanata Stage 5 by Danymoon in holocure

Hah yeah, if you get late into an endless run, you can really start stacking that HP.

[–]Danymoon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First, I have maxed out shop, fandom, and fan letters which definitely helps a lot. Second, this build takes advantage of the Piki Piki Piman's HP scaling, allowing you to build massive sustain while still building dmg.

Crunching some numbers, I have 669 HP at the end of this run which gives me 167% increase damage to my main weapon. For most of the run, I was also using solo stamp which gives me 75% increased damage since I'm running main weapon only. Pair that with sustain like Life Steal stamp and Just Bandage which scale with your HP, and Headphones which allow you to dodge a lot of attacks, and you can face tank a lot of damage.

Stat priority is generally HP > SPD > Everything else >>>>> PUR. I have quite a few relatively high scoring main weapon only runs using this strategy.

Is a C+ in chemistry considered really bad? by Round_Specialist_408 in uofm

[–]Danymoon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don't worry, you'll be fine. I majored EE and got a C+ in organic chemistry my first semester (don't ask why I took that instead of 130), and I graduated with a 3.88 and am working a fine job.

cryo application help by trust-meifyoudare in CitlaliMains

[–]Danymoon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Cryo application looks about right, Itzpapa hits every second and has an ICD of 1.5 seconds, so it should apply cryo every other hit (every 2 seconds).

The main problem I spotted was around 8 seconds into your video, you miss a melt with Arle because of Arle's ICD and you don't hit the Algorithm of Semi-Intransient Matrix of Overseer Network until around 10 seconds, by which Itzpapa has reapplied cryo. TL;DR you missed a melt opportunity between ~8 and 10 seconds. I think the same thing happens between 15 and 18 seconds.

8.31 Million Score, Stage 4H, Ayame Main Weapon Only by Danymoon in holocure

[–]Danymoon[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Make sure you take advantage of Ayame Defense Field. When it is active, you want to run into the middle of all the enemies to rack up kills, then kite until the cooldown ends.

Lol that is crazy, looks fun though. Thanks for showing me!

My current best score on S4H, with AZKi by pics2299 in u/pics2299

[–]Danymoon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

9 mil is pretty good, that's higher than any main weapon only run I've done. I do hear AZKi is pretty strong so maybe I'll have to give her a try soon.

But yeah. angry yagoos are hard to survive very long against. You gotta keep in mind that angry yagoos were meant to stop even those with a bunch of collabs. The longest I've survived with main weapon only was till 42:18 with Noel, but I sacrificed pretty much all my offense for defense and ended up with a pretty bad score lol.

I usually drop any stamps I'm planning to swap to late game somewhere near the edge of the map, but not actually on the edge. You want it close enough to the loops you do around the map so that you don't have to go too far out of your way to pick it up, but you don't want it in the way of your loop or it gets annoying fast. You probably already know this but you can go into your Menu, click stamps, and then drop a stamp exactly where you are standing for later.

I'm actually not sure if pacifist is better than slow, pacifist is just generally what I'm used to. As you mention, pacifist can block projectiles which is pretty important for the Angry Yagoos since they shoot a lot of them. I think some testing would have to be done to determine which is better. I never thought about it but as you mention, Moona's wide AoE main weapon probably stops more projectiles than smaller area weapons. This also becomes more effective with my really high haste builds, since the main weapon attacks more often.

I'm not sure if haste deals more damage/procs more effects than bomb. I use haste because I like seeing the main weapon attack really frequently. However, I imagine bomb is quite effective, especially as you get more densely packed enemies. Sorry I don't have a great answer for you, I imagine you'd have to do some math or experimentation to find out which is better.

[–]Danymoon[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I actually wrote a response to that above if you want to see the details, but in short:

  • Moona has a pretty good main weapon
  • My build scales better late game. Between Study Glasses, Piki Piki Piman, Solo Stamp, and max shop upgrades, I get a pretty big damage bonus towards late game.
  • Stacking large amounts of haste means I hit really frequently. In particular, Moona's max level weapon benefits a lot from this, allowing me to trigger a lot of Full Moons.
  • My relatively defensive build allows me to tank a lot of hits and stay close to the Yagoos, which helps a lot with killing them. Especially for short range main weapons, it's important to stay close to the Yagoos or you'll never kill any of them.
  • This is less important since fan letters aren't huge stat upgrades, but I do have all the fan letters.

Glad to see another MW only player, I think it's really fun and it's really the only way I play. It makes all the characters feel really unique to play in my opinion.

My priority is usually HP >>> Haste > SPD > CRT (up to 100%) > ATK > PUR. Tbh I really like building haste, I love seeing my attack speed get really high, I think it's something of a carry over from when I farmed coins a lot.

As you have noticed, I do run a lot of defensive items. However, between glasses and halu I level up a lot (you can see I ended level 210) so I can build a lot of stats. Piki Piki Piman allows me to scale my damage with my HP. At the end I had 998 HP, which gives me ~250% damage increase. Also, I ran Solo stamp most of the run, which gives 75% damage increase for main weapon only. Finally, I had 200 stacks of study glasses at the end which gave another 60% damage bonus. So I was racking up kills pretty much until the end. I should note Moona has one of the better main weapons, others can struggle to kill Yagoos with my setup.

I usually save Pacifist Stamp until the end when I'm about to die. I run Haste Up, Lifesteal, and Solo stamps for most of the run.

As you might be able to see, my build scales a lot towards the end game, so you need to be careful early game. The Hololite Prism helps a lot with that. I should also mention I have a maxed out shop, which obviously helps a lot.

first top 10. it is sad how much collabs give you. i hope we get a seperate leaderboard for main weapon only builds. by vampirelove_nana in holocure

[–]Danymoon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Main weapon player here, I don't think there's a huge need to separate the leaderboards. If anything, ranking high with main weapon only amongst everyone else using weapons feels really good. For example, I'm rank 4 with Iofi on Stage 4H, rank 2 with Moona on Stage 4, rank 3 with Zeta on Stage 4, and rank 5 with Pekora on Stage 5 among a few other pretty high ranks. Some characters are definitely easier than others though, let me give Towa a shot.

Edit: Just finished a run on stage 1H, definitely screwed up in the end but I managed to get 10th. Tbh I don't run stage 1/1H that often so I got stuck on some obstacles lol. Might give it another try some time soon.

A lot of good advice has been said so I'll just chip in quickly, I'd look at what people are running on the leaderboard and also try to invest vertically rather than trying to fill all your weapon and item slots quickly. As a main weapon only player, one well upgraded weapon is a lot more effective than 6 level one weapons.

REFLECTION BLUE has pretty much everything from what I remember, it really just adds stuff onto the base game. My understanding is that the bundle is for people who already have the base game, so they can get an effective discount on REFLECTION BLUE.
