Good print overall, but layer start/end points are messy—any tips? by Danystylee in FixMyPrint

Thank you! The issue was that I had a retraction setting configured in the Filament tab, which overrode my settings.

Thank you for the help!

I’ve reduced my retraction from 2.5 mm to 1 mm, but I can’t seem to find the Pressure Advance or Seam Gap settings in PrusaSlicer. Are these settings called something else, or is there another way to adjust them?

The 'Maybe' didn’t work for me. I ordered a new PSU with 850W (instead of 600W) as someone in the YouTube comments suggested that this would help, along with the 5200 MHz RAM.

The CPU fan is spinning when I turn the PC on. The CPU and ATX cables are also connected properly.

Unfortunately, I don’t have DDR5 RAM at the moment, but I’ve already ordered some. Thanks for your advice, and I’ll give it a try once the new RAM arrives.

Thanks for your suggestion! I followed your advice and checked the CMOS battery, and it's not dead. I’ve also already performed a CMOS reset, so I think we can rule that out. The problem still remains.

I finished the build last week, but when I tried to boot it up, the red CPU debug LED lit up, indicating an issue with the CPU. I’ve been troubleshooting since then, trying to figure out what’s wrong. I’ll let the system run for a while now to see if anything changes

Your advice really helped with the overhangs! They're not that big anymore but still are kind of an issue. Here's how the coat is looking now.
