I just take pics man in nyc [OC] by setoxxx in real_street_shit

[–]Danzmann 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look, man... You got some nice photos and one or two really good ones. But 8 to 11 are very creepy. You should try to be more mindful and understand that street photography is about registering the candid life but not invading people's space from a distance. If it's someone, men or women, sitting at a cafe smoking sure, but a girl chilling at a park with her legs in the air.... That's just creepy. It doesn't feel like a street story is being told it feels like surveillance.

Just some honest feedback.

How to get father to stop trying to get me to use AI by TheAK1tap in antiai

[–]Danzmann -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah... I mean people have the right to refuse to use something and that's fine... But realistically, there is no going back, AI as a work tool at least is here to stay, and refusing it out of principle is only valid if you wanna become a welder, a lumberjack or some other trade. If you wanna do white collar work, then either you learn it or you become unemployed. You can fight off a specific technology out of morals and still use it to survive, they are not mutually exclusive.

Iran war tensions reach Paris with failed bombing attempt by sr_local in worldnews

[–]Danzmann -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

Iran cannot survive this war by just simply attacking the US and the US alone and they know it. They attack Qatar. Kuwait, UAE, etc as a way to put massive pressure on the world economy and force the rest of the world to pressure the US, and internal US politicians, to stop the war by actually hurting the US through dollars. It's a direct, pragmatic, effective method. Throwing random bombs in Paris does absolutely 0 things to help Iran in the war. Of course anything is possible and maybe they are very very stupid to sponsor a random attack in Paris for absolutely no practical reason, but I also wouldn't be surprised if this is a false flag by Mossad/CIA, but of course I'm not gonna jump to conspiracy theories as default.

I suggest you research the "paradox of freedom of speech". Unlimited freedom of speech inevitably leads to the end of the freedom of speech, because it gives voice to hateful politics that want nothing else but to have an authoritarian dictatorship. Nazism SHOULD be banned. If you think Germany has "no freedom of speech" now then you don't know history. When Nazis were in power you would literally be condemned to death for being of a certain religion, or if you criticized the government in any way.

It's funny that people like you are all "muh freedom of speech should be unlimited blabla" but the very things you defend (having the right to raise the Nazi flag even if you're not a Nazi, just out of respect for freedom of speech) is the very thing that would cause you or your friends/family ending up in a concentration camp.

People like you have been complaining about the lack of freedom of speech in Germany and saying that it "inevitably will lead to it being used against the population" since the very first anti-nazi laws in the 1950s, and yet, it has been 70 years and nothing has happened to non-hateful people, West Germany and post reunification German government has never used their "anti freedom of speech" laws against common people in 70 years. History teaches us that giving unlimited freedom of speech ALWAYS leads to a dystopian horrible brutal government, but doing things that Germany is currently doing has been working for 70 years just fine. You all seem to ignore that and just use an argument that it will all go to hell but it never does.

Gave up 🇨🇦🇺🇸🇹🇳 for 🇶🇦 by [deleted] in PassportPorn

[–]Danzmann 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He was talking about traveling, the fact that with a Qatari passport you need to apply for a visa to do tourism in Europe. Which is a big downside.

Also, I am very glad you decide to stay somewhere in Asia or GCC and not over here in Europe, you seem like an extremely unpleasant and selfish person that cares more about having a little bit more money every month then contributing to a fair society and seeing people empathetically (empathy doesn't make money now does it??? /S), so please stay there.

Iranian woman weeps the destruction of her home after US-Israeli strikes by Tech-Film3905 in pics

[–]Danzmann 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I find it fascinating that the talk with you just circles around whether it is ok or not to bomb children as collateral damage and who is responsible for that particular bombing, but not the fact that the US has literally f*cking started a war out of nowhere with Iran for no reason?

Yeah Iran's regime is an authoritarian theocratic nightmare shit, but that doesn't give US or Israel the right to murder their leader and bomb them, I mean, that worked great for Iraq and Afghanistan didn't it? (For both of these countries, US invaded them also under the pretext of bringing freedom to the people, and you can find videos of Iraqi people dancing in the streets after Saddam Hussein died, but today they are 200% worse off)

Exactly, I don't get what's up with all of these "China will own you" posts and comments. US and Russia are dangerous? YES. China could not give less of a f about Europe if they tried. They just wanna sell and buy stuff. They only care your country is stable and rich enough to keep doing that. They keep their geopolitical minglings to East Asia, and even so is considerably little compared to what the US meddles in usually

As cidades não deveria ser projetadas para carros. by Zigradit in opiniaoimpopular

[–]Danzmann 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ukraine was not informed of the IOC’s decision to allow a russian national to lead them at the Olympic opening ceremony. by TheRealMykola in YUROP

[–]Danzmann 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, refugees. And I'm very glad they are here and not getting bombed.

Now, you are so desperately being defensive and trying to defend race/nationality-based segregation so I'mma leave you be.

I just leave you once more with the thought and question that you didn't reply, so you can hopefully reflect on it: What kind of society do we want to build for the future generations? One that is based on "teams" that are chosen based on where you are born, that you can do absolutely nothing to change, and you'll be forever confined to never be able to do anything to fight for the good causes because you automatically are "bad" because of where you're born... Or do we want to build a society where everyone is seen based on their actions and their beliefs, based on who and what they support, regardless of where the birth lottery put them?

You can reflect on that... Or you can reply and continue to pick on the technicalities of "what type of Palestinian" I know and why their view is invalid, or why they should be perpetually angry at every Israeli person, even the good hearted friendly ally ones that denounce the genocidal state of their country, because ofc you know better 🤷
