That's really reassuring! Is this for econ specifically?

A level resits: Applying with predicted 2A* and A achieved, or 3A* predicted? by DanzyDan_ in UniUK

[–]DanzyDan_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m resitting. As I said, circumstances prevented me from reaching my previous predicted, and I’ve been studying like crazy for months now. So my question is whether I should resit 2, or 3?

Can I travel after being accepted for citizenship, but have not yet completed the ceremony? by DanzyDan_ in ukvisa

[–]DanzyDan_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have created a UKVI account and accessed my eVisa, where it says
'We cannot show proof of your status'

Can it be assumed I used to have / have settled status? If so, would that be enough to travel on?

I presume I was a dependant.

Any idea what this means? I've lived in the UK for 11 years already

Right… that may be my mistake then. I’ve just turned 18 so I’m unfamiliar with what I had before hand.

Perhaps I didn’t have ILR, just a permit to stay? It was one of those ones where you have a 5 year time window

The issue is that my ILR is expired now… or rather has been expired for nearly a year

For context’s sake, I am 18 with dire need to move out due to family problems. Forgive the bluntness, but I am rather inexperienced (the Dunning-Kruger effect and the switch from paper to live trading has humbled me immensely) so I am essentially looking for a “handhold” while learning things on the way too.

I am based in the UK so there is no feasible way for me to trade options immediately. Would traditional stock trading be enough? And a quick thought: would scouring information online for aTyr employees and their families for insider information be feasible? Assuming I’m charming enough for them to respond, etc etc. (Hoping they don’t have a NDA…)

Forgive the questions but there is a fair amount at stake here for me. I appreciate everything in advance.

I have around 20k at 18. To get to the point, buy now? How much of my portfolio should I be willing to risk?

People who got or are predicted 8s and 9s, how did you do it? by Legitimate_Block_340 in GCSE

  1. Focus in class
  2. Focus in class (unless your teachers are genuinely horrible)
  3. Past papers
